Blizzard, the developer of Overwatch 2, has provided detailed information about the new season that started on February 13th. One of the biggest innovations is focused on the competitive gaming system. Players’ ranks from the previous season will be completely reset to ensure a better gaming experience, and they will be assigned to a new league based on their performance.

Additionally, the criteria for players to rise or fall in competitive leagues will be made much more transparent. A new league level called “Champion” will also be activated with the new season. In addition, players will earn points based on their performance and can use these points to purchase various weapons from the Jade collection.
Players will also attempt to complete special missions together with their friends, such as Sigma, Roadhog, Soldier: 76, Mei, Torbjorn, Widowmaker, Lifeweaver, Moira, Ana, and Illari, and if successful, they will be rewarded with great prizes.
Furthermore, the Junkertown map will expand to allow for a richer gaming experience, with the addition of new buildings expected. The health levels of some heroes have been increased, and the damage they deal has been made much more stable to create a more realistic competitive environment.
